Tony Azevedo is regarded as the top water polo player in the world. He has been a member of Team USA since he was 18 years old and was a member of Olympic Teams in Sydney (2000), Athens (2004) and Beijing (2008). A four-time collegiate player of the year (2001-04), he set the school-record for scoring as a Stanford Cardinal with 332 goals. While still in college, Men's Journal named Tony the world's seventh-best athlete in 2003. Since leaving collge he as been named the U.S. Olympic Committee's Player of the Year. He was married to Sara, his longtime girlfriend, and also a fellow Stanford graduate, in January, 2010.
